Pottery Making Classes For Children With Christien van Bussel

The popular pottery classes with Christien Van Bussel start again in January.

The classes are for children from 6 to 13 years old.

You learn to make practical items for use in the house and garden and will understand how the clay is glazed and fired.

This makes all pieces strong and durable so they will last for a long time.

Join in and make your own table-ware in a relaxed atmosphere and have fun exploring the clay!

The classes take place upstairs in Springmount Garden Centre from 2-4pm.The costs are 15 Euro per class, this includes materials and firing of the pieces.

Christien lives and works in Aughrim, Co Wicklow where she makes her own table-ware. She is part of the group Wicklow Craft Artists 'Absolutely Wicklow' (www.absolutelywicklow.ie) and sells her work in the Bray Design Centre.
