Just a quick message to let you know what's going on behind the scenes at Springmount at the minute. Yesterday myself, Olive, Rich and Ken made our annual trip to Shanganagh Cemetery in the early hours of the morning to plant up all the flower beds. The sun beamed in the car windows as we drove and we were all felt like having a snooze rather than planting hundreds of plants for the whole day. The day was very enjoyable and the weather behaved itself most of the time with only a few showers dampening our spirits.

Back home yesterday, Ellie and Lynn from The Greenhouse Café and Elizabeth set up a stand in the Bank Of Ireland in Gorey for Enterprise Week. Enterprise Week is a great little scheme run all over the country in various Bank of Ireland branches every year. It invites local small businesses to showcase their talents in the bank for a day or two. The girls from the café very kindly supplied some delicious rocky road biccies, which went down an absolute treat with everyone! We're back in the bank today with even more rocky roads and loyalty forms so be sure to pop in and say hello!
