What We Offer
Outside
- Shrubs - Four large shelters in alphabetical order offering an extensive selection
- Herbaceous – The multipsan which houses the herbaceous perennials, also in alphabetical order, is big (about the size of 3 tennis courts). Customers say we have a wider range of perennials than any other garden centre in Ireland. It’s a lovely place to browse – the sound of running water and bees collecting pollen, the perfume and mass of colour in mid summer ....
- Trees – Indigenous, ornamental, bare root in winter, unusual varieties
- Lime Sensitive – A separate area of rhodos, azaleas, camellias, specimen magnolias and Japanese maples.
- Conifers – A shelter for large growing conifers and another for dwarf conifers suitable for containers and / or rockeries.
- Alpines – For containers, rockeries and beds.
- Water Plants – Lilies, marginals and oxygenators.
- Fruit & Veg – Apples, pears, damson, plums, cherries etc and soft fruits. Vegetables in trays in the summer.
- Herbs – All year round.
- Mature – Around the garden centre are large specimens, ranging in selection through the year. They are probably most plentiful in the winter and spring.
- Roses – Hybrids, floribundas, patio, shrub, climbers, ground cover – all come in during November / December. Great selection. A list available to help you choose by colour, name, fragrance etc is you’re not sure what you need.
- Climbers – Presented in groups: clematis, lonicera (honeysuckle), wisteria, jasmine, hydrangea, actinidea, schizopheragme, polygonums etc.
- Also Outside – Composts, stakes, aggregates (25kg, ½ tonne, 1 tonne bags)
